Bag Lubing Keyboard Switch Springs with Krytox 105 Oil Tutorial

Okay, it's not a joke. You can bag lube springs.. and it is honestly the most time and cost effective way of lubing switch springs that I have encountered. Enjoy the tutorial!

You can ingest Krytox 105 according to their website specs. Just not chugging it down. Moderation.

I was wondering if you ever tried cream stems on filmed alpaca housing. I've been thinking on doing it, hoping I can get a smoother switch than creams (knowing it would be less smooth than the alpacas) and better sounding than the alpacas. If you've tried it would you recommend it?

how many springs can you lube with 5 drops?

I used a jar and it worked for GHPs, Durock Koalas, but not the entirety of EG Dark Jades. It missed like 7 springs that i had to hand brush individually. Idk why that happened.

Can you lube the springs of a click-bar switch like Box White/Jade/Navy without affecting the tactility/sound of the switch? I know everyone says never to lube clicky switches, especially the click jacket types like MX Blue, but if you do just the spring, could it help with ping?

I just bought a blitzwolf kb1 and i would like to mod it with foam mod, tape mod, lube the switches and the stabilizers without desoldering. In your opinion is better to use a brush and the 205g0 if i don't want to desolder? Or the 105 is faster dropping a bit of it on the switch while i press the stem? You think there will be much of a difference??

is there a way to fix bent springs or should I just get more? Just wondering because it is kinda pain to just buy a bunch of springs and only use like 7 of them because the rest of my switches are already lubed and in my keyboard.

Just a question, I want to lube my switches in moderation as it is quite a hassle and my board is not coming until half a year later. Is there any problem with leaving my bag lubed springs in the same bag for a good period of time?

Will the switches rust if i leave them in lube for to long and will the lube dry out if i leave them in a clean bag for too long.

A decent amount of my springs got stuck together and some got a bit bent. I am currently trying to straighten them, but a slight bend won't impact the performance much right?
