I flew in a Columbia 400 just before the purchase by Cessna.

The cockpit felt small to me.

I’m happy to see Cessna and Cirrus selling small airplanes.

The IO550 sure is a great engine.

It’s just a Lanceair three times rebranded but it was always a good airplane as all Lanceairs were I do think I prefer the original though.

The Corvallis started her life as the lancair 350-400, she is what ever cirrus wishes it was. There is a good reason the regional sales rep hocking eight digit turbines flys one as her “company car”.

It was a Columbia before Cessna bought it. And a lancair before that. What a plane. Cessna could have never developed it on their own
