#shorts
NASA’s James Webb Space Telescope has already delivered the deepest and sharpest infrared images of the distant universe so far. But the latest image to be released is a sight to behold. At only 161,000 light-years away in the Large Magellanic Cloud galaxy, the Tarantula Nebula is the largest and brightest star-forming region in the Local Group, the galaxies nearest our Milky Way. It is home to the hottest, most massive stars known, and it's stunning! Webb is the next great space science observatory following Hubble, designed to answer outstanding questions about the Universe and to make breakthrough discoveries in all fields of astronomy. Webb will see farther into our origins: from the formation of stars and planets to the birth of the first galaxies in the early Universe.

Glad to see that new stars are developing.
Some years ago, on the program HOW THE UNIVERSE WORKS, the scientists and astronomers were saying that the universe was running out of stars.
Based on what I just saw, I don't think that's going to happen anytime in the near future. 🌠🌠🌠✌✌✌✌

What exactly is the yellow Star and why does it shine that bright?

That means Tarantula Nebula is outside of the Milky Way galaxy because you stated that it is located @ 161, 000 LY away from our Solar system. The size of our Milky Way galaxy is approximately 100, 000 LY

It’s beautiful but I wish these channels would explain more. The distances seem small in these pics but it’s lights years apart. Also none of that beauty would be visible to the naked eye. We can only see this because it’s in xray or ultraviolet

Just be because we have never seen them does not mean never before seen.

The star with the big diffraction spikes is much closer to us than the nebula

This isn't fair. Will we ever experience these places in other lives or beings? I don't understand why it exists if we can't go there? That's why I think we can go there. We have to figure that out first.
