The 1-wire temperature sensors are very useful. At work we have several long strings of them which we can wrap around oddly shaped parts allowing us to monitor the temperature at many different points during gluing and annealing operations of acrylic to make sure we don't have any hot/cold spots.

Can you make a video about the slave discovery process? I still don't understand how the masters gets all the uids from the slaves. They can't be transmitting at the same time, can they?

You say there is a 65µs bit time, but then when you talk about how the master writes a 0, it takes, at most, 120µs. Well, how can you keep up with the defined baud rate if you're taking longer to send bits than the time you're supposed to?
