I am old enough to remember when Thatcher came to power. Britain was on a 3 day week, power cuts, rubbish in the streets and half the country on strike. She sorted that mess out.

I live in Midlands working class communities broke up social fabric broken. Not saying she was all bad and did some good things like Falklands but was bad in msny other ways not worth a national day. Winston Churchill does. My area still recoverying 40 years later
