Even within the first season of Asoka, we see Sabin unable to move a cup, and we see no progression of her force abilities until she’s tossing Ezra 40 feet in the air

Honestly, I didn't see the end of Rebels as Ahsoka taking Sabine to go train to be a Jedi. I understood it as Sabine choosing to go and find Ezra and Ahsoka keeping her promise to Ezra to go find him, the promise he made her in the Realms when they had to run away from Palpatine, and Sabine and Ahsoka teaming up to find Ezra. Sabine being trained to be a Jedi was just so random and made no sense, and now she can use it so easily out of no where? No. That's just horrible writing and you can clearly see Kathleen Kennedy's 'The Force is Female' influence with that.

People forgetting a few things. 1, Savage was infused with dark side magic. 2. The Dark Side is fueled in someone when they experience pain, hate, anger, suffering, etc.. Savage definitely hates Dooku and is in agony getting shocked repeatedly. This will only fuel the dark side within him causing him to be powerful. 3. Sabine literally a day before couldnt even move a cup.
Just lazy writing for a girl power moment. Classic Disney.

It would have been more interesting to keep her mildly force sensitive and let her make up for it with all her Mandelorian tech.

Comparing a force sensitive that’s pumped up on Night Sister’s magick to a non force sensitive Mandalorian that couldn’t even move a cup is a joke.

Love the way you explain how the dark side is a much quicker way to achieve certain force abilities or things in general when it comes to the force. Many fans tend to forget that.

For me, it was the scene in Rebels where Sabine was learning to use the darksaber with Kanan. The lesson she ends up learning is that she’s not a Jedi, so she needs to use her Mandalorian instincts and equipment to survive. That’s one of the main reasons imo that the Sabine force sensitive conundrum is so nuts.

Personally, I’m cool with Sabine being force sensitive, considering her lineage. But it just feels like a bit of a retcon.

The fact that they reference 10 years of training yet Huyang explicitly states in the show that Sabine's aptitude for using the force was the lowest in all his years of serving the Jedi shows that she was not powerful at all and would need serious training to improve from where she was with the force. Which we can also see in the show with her struggling immensely with moving a small cup after 10 years and then a short time later is able to pull a lightsaber to her from about 10 feet away and push a full grown man while in the air seems ridiculous.

The Dark Side is the quick and easy way to power, The Light Side requires Patience and Discipline.
Now regarding Savage:
1) Dark Side Apprentice
2) Has Dark Side Master
3) Nightsister Magic
The whole point of Sabine’s characterization is her lack of patience and discipline

These people probably think Broom-Boy™ would have a chance against Palpatine.

I like the idea that Peridea is a nexus in the Force and that was why Sabine could amp up her powers. The homeworld of the nightsisters has to be particularly strong in the Force so I'm sure it boosts any force-user's attunement. She was even deflecting blasters which is crazy, she had to be in some kind of flow state, and the planet being a Force nexus would help explain it

I felt so bad on maul when savage died

Sabine was already a good warrior. She did not need the arc they gave in the Ahsoka. It could have been better. Her getting some training from Ahsoka should have only made her a better swordswoman. She already learned to fight her emotions, and yes, losing her family could break her, however, I think having her friends and other around her would help to strengthen her. Also, making her a so prideful and cold at time did not help.

Star Wars Theory needs to be aware that several pages on facebook, particularly, Star Wars High Ground, are spreading misinformation about him

Savage being canonically stronger makes total sense, he also still got completely wrecked by palps when his "brother" was fighting right along side him

I’ve also seen the comparison to Cal which is a worse comparison. Cal had been heavily trained for almost a decade In the JEDI TEMPLE. And he was just remembering his training since ha had cut himself off from the force, not learning anything new outta no where. People love to take things outta context to “prove” their point

To add on, back in the clone wars during Savage’s character development. Savage was put to the test along with others of his kind. In the end Savage was the last man standing. Aside from also being enchanted by mother Talzin’s magic this just proves how Savage was able to have the abilities he had.

Sabine instant unlocked and understood it though which is why I think people are mad. She went immediately being able to force push Ezra a great distance and almost committing to a force leap just because she was able to grab a lightsaber in a life threatening situation…. That is a far stretch.

Yeah thats the problem I have with Sabine not only suddenly using the force, but being CONFIDENT that she can. Sure we seen her training with a lightsaber for a while in Rebels and were told that shes been training with Ahsoka in the interm, but we dont see ANY of that nor do we even see the fruits of it, I mean she can barely fight with a lightsaber let alone even use the force at the start of the season, and she is basically belittled the entire time for not being able to use the force, Huyang literally tells her she is the worst person theyve ever trained.

I would happily have bought that she could use the force if we had seen bits and pieces in the first few episodes and THEN fully managed to tap into it when she reunites with Ezra, that wouldve showed that her feelings of depression and worry were clouding her abilities, but as it was shown in the show it literally came out of nowhere, she all of a sudden just knew she could do it. Thats what I take issue with.

If this is how Sabine was gonna turn out, then Dave made a mistake creating her.
