I think the Queen was more offended that Vader had the nerve to murder her children (scouts or workers, etc.) and then had the gall to joke about them like they were pathetic.

Basically, she was a Mom enraged that someone both murdered AND mocked her children. That arrogant attitude ain't gonna sail on her watch.
