So he is saying that no matter what we choose to be not affected by other people's influence on us? Common how is that true we are interdependent species that are connected to each other. How can we not get affected negatively by those that we truly love? What if someone murders my whole family? Would I be able to just 'not get affected' and say "oh too bad just move on I am not affected at all"?

I absolutely hate this term and that it is now prevalent in the spiritual communitty. Victim is a sutble way to invalidate people's suffering. ALL suffering is one being a victim in some form...so why use that terminology? It's also used by people in the wrong way "don't be a victim", as if that is helpful.

This is where bashar slips up saying since someone can feel the opposite of you standing right next to you and feel nothing that your feeling... no shit their not you wtf does think this is we all feel the same pain if something happens to someone? Bro their is no way that people chose to get tortured on this planet or go through hell their entire lives. Life is so unfair to some people that its litterally obvious that life isnt good and anybody who thinks that thats not true just hasnt been through enough trust me.
