The problem with these lists is how much the outcome of the fights depend on the circumstances. Let's say hand to hand combat on a flat field. Then the jaw titan is immediately trash for example, but in a forest it's godlike

Hot take: the beast titan takes 8 and maybe even 9. The reason why many think the Beast is so strong is because zeke killed so many by just throwing rocks, however the reason he was able to do this is because he had a good throwing arm naturally. Before this the beast titan was noted as “useless in battle” by Ksaver who was a beast titan himself. The only reason the beast titan became a threat is because of the host, not the titan

tbh I think the Jaw, the Armored and the Female would be interchangeable depending on the location their fighting in/the circumstances.

First list that actually gets it right: don’t know why so many people are hating on the beast titan… they’ve said multiple times in the anime that Zeke is “Marley’s Strongest Warrior.” Not only that but he EASILY clapped the armored titan without so much as a scratch on him. I think because he keeps dying to Levi, people underestimate the beast titan, but it’s definitely one of the stronger titans

Which field they are perfect in-

Cart titan- Best in Indurance and stamina. The cart titan can tranform as many times and in as short amount of time required. As long as the user isn't damaged

The jaw titan- Best titan when in a forest or area of high buildings and small space. Due to the size of the titan and its speed, it's difficult to fight against it in a closed area, also crystallization is not a barrier for it

The beast titan- (Minus Zeke's ability to crontol titans) the best used as a bioweapon. The beast titan can be used to drain spinal fluid (the only known source) from it to be used to transform humans into pure titans. This can be used to hinder large populations as either a weapon or just dumbing down unruly civilians. Also some beast titans have added abilities such as fkight and possible poison damage

Warhammer titan- Best in weapon production. The Warhammer is known for its ability to produce weapons through crystallized hardening. This also means the warhammer can an increased hardening ability to form larger structures of hardening without effecting its own body. This is useful becauaw it means less times required to tranform.

Colossal titan- Best in wide spread damage. The nuke-like ability of the colossal titan grants it a wide area of damage. Also the sheer size of the colossal titan can cause damage if the titan walks over structures or simply falls

The armored titan- best self defence again organic threats. The armoured titan WAS the best in self defense since it had hardened plates that grant it the ability to deflect projectiles and melee damage. This has been defyed though since more advanced technologies have come up. This could also be affected by the fact that the current user has no will to live whatsover

The female titan- best in mimickery. The female titan can copy the abilities of other titan shifters by biting a bit of thier flesh. This means that the female titan is best in adapting in a fight. The female titan can also call a horde of pure titans to its location. Annie's combat abilities are not going to be featured

Attack titan: Best in offensive malee. The attack titan may have as similar build to the Female Titan but in conbat, the Attack titan alone is virtually unrivaled in terms of hand-to-hand battle strength. Even with a fairly inexperienced wielder, the attadk titan can still hold up considerably against physical threats. The ability to send memories also grants it an inconsistent/unpredictable foresight.

The founding titan: Best in control and mitigation- The founding's ability to manipulate mass crowds of titans and change the memories of eldians grants it a psychological and warfare advantage. The founding titan however can be a huge disadvantage if the form is not battle-suited mobile enough to hold up on its own in combat. Founding titans need to either be of royal blood, or be in contact with royal blood to function.

Bonus: The founder: Overall- The founder has all the elements of the forementioned titans, it also has a vast erray of other abilities not explored completely. The founder can also theoretically live past the 13 years. Only one holder has ever has this titan

The Armored Titan has been underestimated. It is one of the most powerful titans. It is true that he seems a bit weaker in the last seasons. It is because all weapons began to develop and could injure titans. As Armored titan is shown in each season, he faced all these developments in weapons. But the other titans can be seen rarely and they don't face new anti-titan cannons.

I'll tell you what. It's really tough doing a ranking of the 9 titans, and that's because we know almost nothing about the Attack Titan's abilities, and absolutly nothing about the the Beast Titan's abilities, and I can show that. Let's start with the Attack Titan. We only know that it can see the memories of future shifter. All the titans got their name for a reason, and also it's true for the Attack Titan, yet we haven't seen any amazing offensive abilities from that titan, except the beserk mode (and I'm not even sure if that's canon or not). This means there must be some other abilities we've yet to discover. keep in mind that's the only titan that stayed on Marley and wasn't captured by the Marleyian army (or stayed in the Tybur family), something that not even the Colossal Titan managed to do. I honestly think that the special ability of the Attack Titan that we don't know about is that it's completely resistant to the Founding Titan. It would make sense for a couple of reasons. 1st, thematically. We know that the Attack Titan always strives for freedom, while the Founding Titan is all about controlling people, which makes them enemies by definition, so it would make sense if they're opposites. In addition we can't confirm that it's not true, cause we never actually saw the Founding Titan trying it's mind tricks on the attack titan, we only saw Karl Fritz doing it on the people on Paradise. Lastly, we know that the Attack Titan has kept certain abilities (like the future memories one) that it possesses a secret from pretty much everyone else in the world, so it wouldn't be so far fetched to assume it would it again.

Now moving to the other Yeagar brother, Zeke, aka the Beast Titan. A lot of people say that the Beast Titan's 2 main abilities are it's precice throwing abilities and it's abilities to create pure titans (a lesser form of the Founding Titan), but I'd argue that both of these abilities have another, more logical explanation. They're both Zeke's abilites, rather than the Beast's. Let's start with the 2nd one. the Ability to create pure titans happens only because Zeke has royal blood. Remember, those whom Zeke wants to transform must consume his spinal fluid, in some form or another. About the throwing ability, it could be the Beast Titan's ability, or, more likely, it could be because we saw Zeke playing and practicing "catch" with Tom Ksaver for a decade and a half. ask yourself this: If even one of these abilities were abilities that each Beast Titan shifter has, how could Tom say that his titan wasn't useful in battle?

the cart titan is small, and is useless so it requires less energy to transform. but in the finale, pieck actually uses her titan powers correctly.

Everyone just ignores the Jaw's potential. The Jaw titan is capable of slicing through titan hardening like butter as we saw during s4, which means that the Armoured titan is literally useless against the Jaw. The Jaw would also most likely win against the Warhammer because of its speed and agility, not to mention the fact that the Warhammer's power drains quickly. The Attack + Female titan would also most likely lose against the Jaw. Let's not forget that the Attack titan does not possess the hardening ability. Eren got it only because he ate some sort of weird liquid in the Reiss chamber. Keep in mind that we are ranking the 9 titans, not the shifters. The Female titan does have the hardening ability, but the Jaw would easily slice through that. The Beast titan is a wild card, so it's hard to give a fair comparison. Because of this, I will be using Zeke's titan for comparison. Zeke does not stand a chance. The Jaw would be able to quickly close the distance and slash Zeke into bits. The Jaw's agility would help it avoid Zeke's rocks too. I don't even have to mention the Cart titan. Finally, we have the Collosal titan. The Jaw would not stand a chance against the Collosal's explosive transformation, but if the Jaw could evade that somehow, it would easily defeat the Collosal. Although the Collosal is big, that's pretty much it. Its steam might help it a bit, but the Collosal does lose in a battle of attrition, so it would only be a temporary solution. The Jaw does not stand a chance against a fully capable Founding titan.
So that's it. I feel like the Jaw titan is constantly being ignored because of its shifters. Just look at Ymir. Her titan is dogshit compared to Galliard's. Galliard isn't that good as well. We all know how he takes Ls. Galliard is actually pretty strong, as we can see that he has nearly killed Eren once. If it wasn't for Levi, the series would have ended. It's just that the story didn't really give him his moments. He is the nutcracker titan after all. Hopefully once the final part of AoT releases, people will appreciate the Jaw titan more. After all, Falco's Jaw titan is quite revolutionary.

You know, you can just run away from the warhammer because it has that umbellical cord thing, then you can just pummel it with long range stuff, and the jaw can shit on it any time it wants because any hardened construct is useless against it

while i do agree with the list, it's still controversial:
1. jaw vs female depends on the terrain (open field or trees/buildings)
2. in a fight both female & attack can use hardening, it boils down to endurance & female can summon pure titans

1. Founding Titan- Obvious reasons
2. Warhammer Titan- An overpowered titan but had a serious weakness
3. Colossal Titan- A powerful titan capability of destroying thousands of people at once
4. Armored Titan - A strong titan. Down graded a lot because of the current user who is a little below average
5. Beast Titan- An average Titan but has a overpowered user
6. Jaw Titan - Very fast and can probably kill like a 30 titan in a minute
7. Attack titan- Average Titan with a user who can’t do crap by himself
8. Female Titan- A overpowered user but an average titan
9. Cart Titan - A weak titan but has a great user
