Someone played that C5 hane on me in my last game, in a 6 kyu game. I didn't remember how to answer it so I couldn't punish him. In the end, I lost by 0.5 point.

Although I'm starting to get better and learn more from your advanced videos, a game like this still points out some very basic mistakes I would make. I'm pretty sure I would have haned at the beginning there :(

Recently on stream you were playing Basics on OGS and were surprised that you got a game with a 14 kyu when you set it to only be 12 or higher. I think the reason it does this is because OGS gives players an over all rank and ranks for blitz, regular time, and correspondence. So when you got that 14 kyu his overall score probably was 11 or 12 kyu rather than 14 kyu, but it was displaying his "timed" score. This is also why there is a disparity between people's displayed rank and what appears in games. Not important, but I thought I would try to explain since I play on OGS a lot.

At 16:30, how do we reconcile this with "don't attach to weak stones"? Is it because that stone isn't really weak, being near the wall, or is it actually that this general advice applies a lot less generally, more like "be careful attaching to weak stones" than "don't do it"? (Thanks for the great video!)

If I knew I was playing you, like Inari, I would invade at 3-3 simply because that tends to live against DDK-players despite their best efforts.

It was close because you didn't kill that group with o10, it was really weird that he didn't see that. Not playing that was sort of 15k-ish.
