It’s funny how they usually show Aztec images/items claiming it’s Mayan, example the Aztec calendar with the face in the middle is definitely not Mayan

This is a new, very plausible, explanation as to what happened to the Mayan Civilization around 750-1000 A.D.. When in college, as an Anthropology student, I studied Mesoamerica extensively, particularly the Mayans & Teotehuacanos. My major area of study was the Mayan folklore, diety art, trade, etc. But my major area of focus were the specific Mayan trade routes. It is easy to trace Mayan trade routes with other indigenous groups. I've always wondered what happened to the traditional advanced Mayan Civilization in the Yucatan. The old longstanding theory was that their demise was due to warfare, illness, the typical culprits. However, Mayan were large in number, fierce and an advanced group. I've always believed that they migrated & intermixed with other cultural groups. Yet, due to the extensive Mayan Trade Routes, I've always believed they, as a group, migrated to other locations. Further, the S.E. United States always looked promising as an eventual destination of the Mayans. Serpent Mounds, sacrificial and or ritual mounds always seemed to me Mayan influenced (mind you, my thoughts on this topic date back to the 1980's). I was VERY excited about Genomics of Creek/Muskogee Native Americans having Mayan markers! With the addition to the caves & mounds, I was seriously struck with the ahaa moment! Thanks, History Channel.

When you realize Humans dawned on the planet around 200, 000 years ago but humans started to record their history around 7000 years ago and therefore like 95% of Human history has been lost to the sands of time and on top of it deliberately buried!

Did you say GEORGIA? as in Georgia Peaches Georgia? Oh no, once again… our people are Native Americans. Its funny how the USA does not give my people their title as Native Americans. It keeps everyone from the USA as “immigrants”. Mexicans Peruans, Guatemalans etc… we are Native Americans. Imagine how stupid people would be to think that our people would stay in only one spot🤣. People gotta start using their head a lil bit.. blessings 🤙🏼

"I think there's a link between the Creek and the Maya without a doubt. What that link is I don't know." WTF?

What's crazy everyone acts like there is no history in Americas. There's plenty just haven't been discovered yet.

Finding an arrow head, or spear head in a cave is a long ways from even indicating that Mayans were there. The genetic evidence is compelling, though. THAT is the evidence he should be investigating, rather than an arrowhead.

Imagine sometime in the future, human beings able to create time travels "camera" and place in the those caves. Goes back in time and take pictures of different era.

Looks to me as though an animal was struck by an arrow, then crawled into the cave and died from the wound.

I remember reading a historic sign erected in Ball Ground GA area that talked about the Cherokee driving out the Creeks. Perhaps the Creeks hid out in the cave system for a while before having to leave their land.

It sort of makes sense. Even a coastal route...

Imagine you travel to a cave and then you place an object. You say, I can’t take this object, that would be illegal. You leave the object and there’s new evidence. Makes good 📺

What exactly was the "new evidence" in the center of this video? The host just seems over-fascinated with all the statements that involve "Mayan", trying to make peace with his narrative.

Does anyone know what happened to Scott Walter from History Channels America Unearthed? Kinda miss him and that show it's been a while since that show has aired on here.
