I am repeating myself, but only 8, 000 subscribers to this channel? It feels like a privileged secret club. it's a shame given how fast you've become my most preferred online guitar teacher and by far. Wish we lived in the same area ; I would have loved to have real live lessons with you! Thank you again for your posts.

I’ve been playing lead guitar for 20 years….. Lord, I can’t believe I haven’t seen this anywhere before. Smh 🤦‍♂️ Makes me wonder if it’s a huge secret amongst the greats that only you are sharing, or if not many people realize what’s going on. Thanks so much!

after watching your 3nps videos i was wondering if you could do the same with pentatonics and here we are. having this patterns in head makes no need to learn the box shapes as they come naturally. thanks a lot

Thanks Steve! This is great! :)
What’s kind of funny is that every great concept for guitar has that one big BUT: the B string is tuned differently...
It almost seems like a mistake, and that the guitar actually should be tuned in 4ths. (I know some people do that).

Hi Steve - this is great stuff, SO SO good - if i remember correctly, did you also cover a lesson where you took this 'fragment' approach to the full chromatic scales found under CAGED chords ? If so, would you pls be able to link me to that one ? Thanks again for your awesome channel and wisdom!!

STEVE, I'm not sure which scales or modes to use when playing Sus2 or Sus4 chords because eddie van halen used sus2 and sus4 chords often but when you use the major scale or minor scale the major 3rd and minor3rd will clash with the sus2 or sus4. So which scale or mode is the best to use for these types of sus chords?
