I’ve seen a ton of videos but in my opinion this instructor is the best!

It is an amazing guitar, but most of the sound is coming from your fingers! I live in the US for 24 years. I am primarily a jazz drummer, but studied sax for 5 years (and now, at 71, I am trying to learn blues guitar). Once I went to Blue Note (NY) to see a great famous alto sax player. At the set break I asked him what sax he was playing (I could betit was a French vintage Selmer). It was a Selmer indeed, but made in the US, basically a student model. Most of the sound comes from the player, not from the instrument. I definetly learned it that day. The instruments helps a lot, but I bet BB King (my favourite blues player/singer/person) would sound great to a 335 Epi dot or similar. Thanks for your videos and lesson. Cheer from Brazil!

Thanks Steve. The closing hymn/tune ... touching. Being of biblical faith is something so many mock and even some hate ... and the precious morality of the great mindset of the Most High and his son (our older brother) ... it is he that made us, not we ourselves. So precious worth more than gold or silver ... and that growth and understanding is so needed culture wide and world wide. Gal 5:22 ideas they have no idea what good it is for all. May Yah give you a touching title for the tune and keep it and develop it and record it... to bless others and glorify the Most High.

Mark Edwards . thank You so Much . I have one question. You play so smoothly. When You are alternate picking. When picking back down from the high e string. Do you pick back to start descending the scale ?

Steve You say that along the way, when learning the pentatonic scale forms, you learned the neck of the guitar. Can you explain a little more? What do you mean by that? Thank you.

Are you saying to learn each form (sliding up or down to a new key using the same form)? and then take the second shaped form going up and down in different keys, . third form etc. ... Later hitting the root or 6th (in mind) or try that each step of way ... 1 nd 6th
