I do agree that people can use this stuff for ill gains far too easily, but it is also great for home protection.

When my grandparents passed away, my Dad installed several devices in their house to keep an eye on things as we lived in a different city while he facilitated the clear out and eventual sale. We managed to catch two guys attempting to break in through the conservatory. It was heart wrenching to watch, but without the footage they wouldnt have been caught and convicted.
