I've kept my New Year's Resolution in the classical sense since 1998 or 1999. "Never make any New Year's Resolutions." I don't want to make a pledge toward something simply because the time of year demands it, and I definitely don't want to toss off an unrealistic one that's overwhelming.

I usually ask the powers that be to have the grace and strength to deal with the s*** that inevitably hits the fan a little better than I did the previous year, previous six months, previous week, etc., and other than continuing to persist, that's all I can hope for.

I am happy to say that I actually completed my N Y resolution for 2013! I lost a buttload of weight, I left my job that I hated, and I am happier that I have been in a long while. I'm now helping people to lose weight too! 2014 will be a continuation of 2013.

My resolution is to follow through on my goals.

My resolution this year (or would it be next year?) is to loose weight.  Boring, classic, and highly likely to fail, I know.  So, I think I'll do video updates every week or twice a week so I can be shamed publicly and held accountable for my habits of diet and exercise.  Please get your tomatoes ready and your throwing arm warmed up.  We're doing this.
