In this video, I’ll show you how to program and set up your Leviton DOS02-LW Decora motion sensor light switch, including both occupancy and vacancy mode.

This light switch is one of the easier ones to program, but only if you’re familiar with the settings table shown on the instruction sheet that comes in the box with this light switch (and if you don’t have yours anymore, don’t worry - I’ve included a link to it above).

0:00 - Intro
1:07 - How to enter programming mode
1:46 - How to adjust timer (timeout) settings (1, 5, 10 or 20 minutes)
2:44 - How to adjust motion sensitivity settings
3:34 - How to adjust ambient light settings
4:38 - How to switch between occupancy and vacancy mode

You are wrong when you say after programming you dont touch anything for 30 seconds to finish. If you do that your settings will be NOT save it. You need to push either the top or bottom for 5 seconds to save it.

By the way after you change the settings and if you do not hold the top button for 5 seconds then the setting will not save it will exit out the programming mode without the saving your settings so once you change the settings and you wonder why your stuff is not working because you did not say it the changes in this video I believe he failed to mention that but when I was reading the manual I noticed that you have to press and hold the top button for 5 seconds for the settings to be saved

Thanks for explaining this in detail. The instructions are a bit confusing, or I'm just really stupid.

How do I turn off the energy savings mode ? I want it to work like a regular switch and don’t want to turn it off

Can I make it so I have to press it to turn it on AND off without a timer? Super annoying coming back down every 20 mins, to turn the light back ON while I’m in the attic, and it’s at the bottom of the attic stairs.

Great video!
Just to be clear.. so the light won't turn on if motion is detected, you have to manually turn it on first correct?

The LED light remains green all the time on my installation. The switch works great, turns on and off as per settings. It's on a 3 way installation and i have to leave my other switch on if ever i turn it off my sensor switch stops working. Weird problem...thanks for the video helped a lot understanding the settings.

I have a black wire(hot), a red and white wire coming out of the wall. The white and red wires connected to the light. I can't figure out how to install this product on this setup. Any guidance?
