Has this pack received the most emergency patches for any pack so far? It sure seems like it.
I agree, the game is well beyond fixing and has been for awhile. All they are doing is sticking plasters on papercuts, without dealing with the bleeding artery.

I don't have the new pack and I have never played with mods - but for the first time ever my game crashed!! I got the error 123 when trying to travel to a lot - and suddenly there was the error code and then just a white screen and I was shocked because I kinda saw myself as blessed never having had much issues.... But after this update(s) it's gone crazy... 😭

I will remember until my last days on Earth, when some EA supporter wrote me that it is my fault my Sims can't pay bills, because I play with mods (no, I don't). That was my first bug in the game before Lovestruck and first update. No one believed me. And now... WTF: they admit, that there is an issue with broken bills? Well... EA sucks. Really sucks.

Currently playing on a pre-patch, pre-ep game. Yo ho ho. If you know, you know. Anyway, updated Wicked Whims because those updates are generally backwards compatible. Nope. I can definitely tell some of the elephant in the room glitches are likely from the new bed and/or woohoo location coding. That being where the current version of WW glitched out. Sooo.. took it out, replaced old version and back to normal pre-patch play. Now I'll sit back and wait for the patch-ocalyse to end.

For the pay bill thing use MCC if you have PC you can set it to auto pay bills.

I started playing Sims 1 on PS2 when I was 10. I was hooked. Back then the world was so different. Getting on PC, was even better. Discovering mods. WOW. The community was so awesome and giving, all passionate about this game that looked boring to everyone else. Modders didnt get paid for anything. All passion. All community.

It really saddens me to see what's become of it all. Coming from Sims 1 and 2 - essentially an amazing version of Sims 4 - I got to see Sims 3 come out as such an improvement. Then get crushed by Sims 4, the trashiest game that somehow anyone defends. This game has no effort. None. Doesn't even compare to Sims 1. Then attacking modders?! So unheard of. I can't even wrap my head around the entitlement. I used to claim the community, but now i can't. This isn't the community I knew. It's not the one I grew to appreciate and love. So quick to get mad at potentially paying modders but will purchase and update a broken af game. 😒 I'm tired. I miss the old days of the Sims community. Now, i just be embarrassed.

From the day they revealed TS4 I instantly hated it, how the graphics looked and a lot of missing features on launch. This game is still not finish and it became a buggy mess, I'm glad I stayed playing TS3 and how the gameplay will always be better.

Definitely sinking like the Titanic the problem Is when a boat Is taking on water you try and find the source of the problem patch It up and suck the water up or get a bucket and throw the water out they have the tools to fix the problems just like the developers do. The problem lies In EA being a multi-million dollar company that has the resources and tools to fix the game but their not and instead of EAs corporate big heads taking the brunt of people telling them to fix the game. The developers are taken the brunt of It you know It wouldn’t surprise me If Maxis told them the pack wasn’t ready yet and that rushing out the patch would break the game and EA said release It anyway…

I am experiencing the can’t pay the bills, sims walk/stop/walk/stop/walk, as well as also experiencing lots (both community & residential) that I have remodeled & saved to my library to use in a new game and when I try to place it, I get a “Can’t Find Object” notification.

The sims 4 gotta be the buggest game out there. I played a lot of other games and they never ran as bad as the sims 😂. Stardew and any other game right now is better than sims! Save your money! Once they finish selling the packs for sims 4, they gonna move to sims 5 and never fix sims 4 like they didn’t for sims 3 .
