you should do a video about probably all surfers problem: where to go surf with a surf partner who is a beginner, but you are a intermediate/advanced surfer. so both get their waves

Airport Left & right are for intermediate too! If you don't feel confortable with Ulu, you can go to Impossibles or Dreamland (actually works well at low tide)

Nice video, thanks! Was in Lombok last year and would definitely recommend going there in the wet season. In the dry season you just have 2-3 spots that are properly working, everywhere else is onshore with the trade winds. and the spots that work get really crowded in the dry season.

Great video mate, really helpful for intimidate surfers looking for tips and spots in Indonesia. One thing I noticed though was that you didn't mention what times of the year you'd recommend those spots. Obviously swell dependent... But would be good to know for people that aren't familiar of our oceans in the southern hemisphere. I've been to Bali once in June, loved the weather and being Winter there was plenty of swell around but also did have smaller days for a bit of a break 😂

Thanks 🙏. I am planning to hit Lombok in August/September timeframe; start with a week long camp then leave a few weeks open.

at Uluwatu, everyone bunches up at the Peak and Racetrack. So no hierarchy much. Better off at temples and its a proper lineup.

Thanks for the video! As a intermediate surfer from Brasil, I'm a little scared but really want to surf Uluwatu, I have never surf point/reef breaks! Do you have any local surfer guide recommendations?

Intermediate surfers need to learn only one thing, and that is that a close-out is any wave they couldn't make! (lol)

Yooo the fact you just called me an intermediate surfer makes me feel sooo good😁 I can’t wait to get back on the water. Living in Canada is dope for snowboarding but I’m tryna explore something new

Worth mooching to Bali with missus and child in June for some good surf? Going away for 2 weeks in June (meant to be going Dubai but too hot) thinking to go the extra 9 hours to Bali and potentially come back at Christmas. Struggling to come to terms with the 18 hour flight time. Is it worth the mooch you think from the uk ? ….great videos as always

Do you know if seminyak has any decent surf spots. Thinking of staying there in June as the hotels seem a bit nicer but doesn’t seem to be as much surf up that way.
