FSD 12.6.1 - First Impressions - Las Vegas Strip - Incredibly similar to FSD 13!

Just got FSD 12.6.1 on our HW3 (AI3) Model Y and took it out for my first impressions drive on the Las Vegas Strip. E2E Highway was amazing and I couldn't tell the difference coming from FSD 13.2.2

I can't wait for HW3 (AI3) to get reverse. Then it will insanely similar to FSD 13.x

Thanks Tim. You are only 1 of 2 YTubers who have HW4 but not abandoned us HW3 owners. It appears that speed profiles is just for highway for now. I had 12.6 and waiting to see what 12.6.1 has to offer. I agree that 12.6.* is much better than 12.5.*. Thanks again!

Just found this channel. Very nicely presented FSD video and excellent commentary! Very helpful to me as I have a HW3 model X. I have been very pleased with 12.6 so far, waiting on 12.6.1 and hopefully that also fixes some lane centering issues that I'm having. Definitely looked like the reflections on the road played a major part in the lane keeping disengagement. Combined with the grinded down lines showing up more clearly within the reflections, it makes for a pretty tough scenario. Definitely will have to retest it in the dark for an apples-apples comparison.

I cannot wait to get the update to FSD 12.6. I test in my Henderson neighborhood, over by Town Square Mall, on the 215 FWY to 15 FWY, and on The Strip.

The issue in the parking lot is because FSD does not like to stop and take its time to figure out a situation. It prefers to continuously keep moving even if it slows down a bit. This causes it to miss turns. Thus, it then rerouted trying to figure out alternative options 😊

Man, I can not wait to get this! 12.4.2 is ok, but pretty jerky and the phantom breaking sucks.

The problem with the unwanted left and right turns is that in LV so many normal lanes of traffic suddenly turn into turn only lanes. It's LV's fault not FSD's. Roads in LV were/are designed by idiots.
