The symptoms are debilitating. From chronic fatigue, pain, brain issues, nausea, inflammation, loss of appetite, but accompanied with Hypothyroidism, hashimotos disease...weight goes up! Insane itching too but worse is loss of vitality/ health, energy leading to inability to enjoy much or live normally. That's even when following a v healthy approach. Depression creeps in, as few people wish to be a burden on ithers. But a positive attitude must be something to hold onto. And not every day is a bad day!

My support and care team was my I thought. They called me weird because I was so fatigued. They said I wasn’t myself and acted abnormal. For no reason whatsoever, they became scared of me because I seemed extra tired and thought I was depressed. They would not take the time to read anything about PBC or my associated Sjögren’s Syndrome. I’m currently homeless during the Coronavirus pandemic.
