why is the pillow in constant pain 24/7? Well the reason why is because of it's cotton factor constantly healing him due to the pillow getting beat 24/7. The cotton constantly makes new cotton balls each day for protection . That means the pillow got super cotton and is functioning at half a ball of cotton. Because the fists are killing the pillow thus feeling like mma fights. But the healing factor heals him and drains the pillow at the same time

Because of that, in the comics, black panther called deadpool's healing factor a dying factor since instead of replacing dead cells with alive ones and healing, it just replaces them with cancer cells. His healing factor is always working overtime. I heard that's why his healing would work so well. It's always working overtime, and unlike Wolverine, he still can talk while decapitated and can be perfectly fine while it's been said if Wolverine is decapitated or his brain is damaged he dies. The issue is since his healing is always working overtime against his cancer, if his cancer was cured he would grow too many cells, expand and explode which we found out from skrulls that copied his healing.

I also read that the reason why Deadpool is even still alive is because of his cancer. Let me explain. In a one off Marvel Comics WHAT IF gag, it shows what would’ve happened if he didn’t have his cancer but still had his powers. Wade’s healing factor is so unstable, that he’s in a constant state of regeneration, so much so that he basically kept on regenerating until he imploded, killing himself. So the cancer saved him by sadly putting him in a state of between life and death. That’s why Lady Death has the hots for Deadpool because he intrigued her. Also helps that he’s good at what he does, if you catch my drift lol
