Another nice video. Would it be of interest to note that integration is a method to exactly calculate the area under the curve? In your example, (2x-4) is the height of an infinitely narrow rectangle with width dx. The "S" symbol stands for Sum and is Liebnitz' notation from his development of The Calculus, concurrent with Newton's work.

Can you explain conceptual relationship between slope and "area under the curve". I mean, how come these two are related under a certain operation.
