The video is cut short so I do not know if it was discussed, but the issue isn't men approaching women for their numbers. But, not taking "No" as an answer or being creepy or exhibiting aggressive and hostile behavior when rejected. Experiences like that is what frightens women and make them start questioning how they need to dress. If all interactions were courteous and respectful we wouldn't even need to have this conversation.

Guys, before u judge the dude watch the whole clip. He is actually amazing and fully invested in trying to understand the feminists perspective. He is the best one there imo.

I love this comment section because if you disagree with the girl that means you're a misogynist. That's fantastic because that means any meaningful discussion is immediately stopped in its tracks because of your feelings. Congrats.

the fact that they are able to have a proper conversation and share their opinions and actually listen to each other is amazing. topics like these (at least in my experience) usually lead to argument when discussing difference of opinion.

I am a man and I also have to consider what I wear before I leave my house. Men also do think about what women might think of us. We are also judged, overlooked, unappreciated and abused in a thousand ways every single day and nobody is talking about it. Yes, it is a problem for women, but it is ALSO one for men.

Be realistic everybody knows its bad to harass women but not everybody cares.

As a man I have to be fairly aware of what I wear too. The thing is, that is a common problem because they live in the US, while for example in many European countries it isn't as common.

This can be easily fixed. Women should take the reigns and start approaching men, and asking for their numbers. That will promote tons of safety and as time goes by it will become the normal way of courtship. Women won’t need to feel like they need to tone down their dressing etc.. But, todays women have to grow a pair and start being okay with rejection. Or is that too much?

I think everyone should dress modestly. If you aren't for sale don't advertise.

Kursat was the only one in this middle ground who actually really knew what he was talking about. He killed it, props to him

Why is it that 90% of women that talk about "fearing for their lives" when stepping out the house, are women that live in wealthy, mostly politically stable countries? I never see women on these shows that come frome places where women ACTUALLY fear for their life (India, Congo, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Syria etc.) Places where women get murdered, gang raped and sold as slaves on a regular base. I find it disgusting how western women talk about being in danger, when most of them never really felt what real danger is. No, a man asking for your number is not something to feel scared of. Not being allowed to school or otherwise your family will never see you again alive. That's something to be scared of.
