She's literally wrong lol. You can't fire someone just because they're pregnant.

I love how she is low key offended by that question for no reason 🤣

They can’t fire you if you’re pregnant. However, smaller businesses are under no obligation to hold your job once you have to inevitably go on leave.

My state can fire anyone for literally no reason at all. "At will employment" I think is what they call it.

There are laws that stop employers from firing you while you're pregnant

Actually, a woman can not get fired for being pregnant. But I remember when I was pregnant and not very far along and I went for a job interview not even thinking about me being pregnant. I didn’t mention it at all. Because I was just really young and didn’t even think about it affecting anything. I was 16 at the time and so naive. I told my mom it wasn’t a big deal I was pregnant.😂 lol, I was so stupid. 2 months later when my manager found out I was pregnant they couldn’t fire me she was pissed and she didn’t hide it. She treated me like dog shit the whole time I worked there. She was 19. And a big bully. It was like being in high school. She would make fun of me relentlessly and I was miserable day in day out working in front of a hot oven and pregnant.

Everyone else is explaining how wrong she is so ill say this: tomorrow (June 10th) is the 60th anniversary of the wage gap being obsolete due to the 1963 Equal Pay Act. This was the final milestone in women having full rights AND maintaining additional privileges thanks to chivalrous principles.

That's right, feminism has lasted generations now without any real relevance. Thats why she has to pretend laws aren't already in place so she can feel oppressed

How does aborting a man's baby, not effect him? Please explain. I know men who this has happened to before. God bless!

In many states, you don’t need to provide a reason to fire any employee.

Yet they don't want to talk about the alimony and child support laws that discriminate against men.

No law that protects a father with a pregnant wife whom he is financially supporting from being fired either. Also what would be the difference in a pregnant woman and a woman with children, the woman with children seems even more important bc that costs her even more money, of course the same would apply with a man with children. So I guess according to her we should just avoid firing anyone with kids

At least she answers instead of screaming.

You can be leagally fired during pregnancy and family related leave, but "You should not be dismissed because of your pregnancy or family-related leave"

I’m torn on this because she’s wrong to say there are no laws preventing a company from firing a woman who is pregnant, but in the other hand, what happens if a company does do that? How do you prove this was the reason for your termination, that it was wrongful, especially considering the fees you’d deal with in hiring a lawyer and meting it out in court?

She didn’t even listen to THE QUESTION.
