Nice video. I do think tizanidine is more sedating and better at night. I do similar things sometimes with neuropathic pain and trigeminal neuralgia.

Just a quick remark about fatigue: My neurologist prescribes me fampyradine for my fatigue (not for spasticity). She argues she rather prescribes fampyradine then amphetamines with all the nasty habituation effects. I must say fampyradine works wonders for my fatigue, and I think it's a more useful substance if you want to prescribe combinations, since the way it works is rather unique. No risk of nasty serotonin side effects.

Thanks a lot for this video. Kindly, can you please write the names of medications even on your videos or in the description to easy understand them because English is not our mother language (:

Saving this video!! Thank you for the help. Our PCPs thank you as well. Not all neuros treat symptoms. You are so kind to do so for your patients.

Btw, your logo would look great in a circle with the name around the circle. In my opinion, circles are symbolic. A circle around the logo would almost be hugging/protecting/saying that your clinic encompasses treatment wholly. Which is something that is important l, because treatment must address more than the progression of lesions in order to best serve the individual. Our goals should be about completing the circle as best we can so that our quality of life improves or is maintained. You embody that notion in all the things you do for your patients and the MS community as a whole. You help us to elevate our care teams and ourselves.

Good morning Dr. B🌅. Great info, thank you😊. MS causes so many symptoms, its such a balancing act with medications, side effects, and trying not to be on too many meds. It can get so tiring. Thanks for the helpful info, take care🙋‍♀️

Hi, Doctor B!
My Neuro has me on Trokendi XR (for migraine prevention and focal seizures control). I had been on Topamax/topiramate for years for migraine prevention. He has me on Cymbalta for nerve pain. I tried Gabapentin (300mg @bedtime) and within 2 months I was jerking uncontrollably. I have tried Lyrica 25mg. Within days, I had absolutely no appetite (I'm a T2 Diabetic) and I was not able to sleep. I recently tried Mobic. within 5 days, I had these ugly, itchy welts (not hives) all over. Now, I am going to try to control the inflammation with my diet.

THANK YOU Dr Boster! Very helpful 😊 ~ Now I feel better informed to talk to my doc about some of these, and better yet- - not waste precious one-on-one time with her, asking her to explain all the options you’ve listed here. I think it pays tremendously to maintain & keep current our ‘MS education’ - - especially regarding medication treatments. Thanks for saving us from another potential hurdle!

I take a bedtime combo to keep me safe from my CNS going haywire. I take 600mg gabapentin with 4mg diazepam to settle both nerves & muscles. I can’t take gabapentin during the day-it makes me dizzy. I have one extra 2mg diazepam I can take for daytime muscle spasms. I don’t need it often anymore. Physical Therapy exercises keep it under control. Thanks for addressing combo therapies!!!! 🤗❤️❤️

I was diagnosed with Tumefactive Multiple Sclerosis in Feb 2019. My neurologist started me on Tysabri in March 2019. It started out good but now I am having severe head pain. Not headaches but sharp stabbing pain that shoots up the back of my head, also memory loss and mood swings. I took my last Tysabri infusion today. I just can’t do it anymore. I go back to my neurologist on the 21st to talk about what’s next. Do you have any information you can share on the type of MS I have? There is no drug out there that I am aware of for what I have. Thank you in advance.

#Question - have you found a probiotic brand that you like? And when to take it? Day? Night? Both?
