At Mobile World Congress 2024, we tried Motorola's concept rollable phone. The Android smartphone has a flexible display and can be worn around your wrist, held in place by a magnetic bracelet.

The device should be thinner to be more bracelet like. Also, should have some type of lock to avoid dropping or stealing.

Okay for gen 1 device but wont be adopted until it clasps fully aroind and is thinner. Like a futuristic slap bracelet.

I think it would be more secure/less awkward/nicer looking if the center of the phone were on the top of my wrist and the sides folded around. Also I can see how this is pre-production. @1:16 I believe the screen pops out of the bezel!

Can't help but think that wearing your phone on your wrist is going to cover the screen in scratches almost immediately. Neat concept, but it should probably stay just that tbh.

How do they fit in the battery? As the battery can't be bend it is in a solid form.

This is an excellent design, but don't think it needs to be 'worn'. It's way better version of a flip phone. A built in Phone stand is all I need !!

As for the hand, I can balance my existing phone on my wrist, no problem.
