Samsung's Rollable Phone - Hands On Video

Samsung's rollable smartphone aka slidable phone from Samsung has been revealed in a hands on video by Samsung Display. Note that this is a prototype unit revealed by Samsung's subsidiary Samsung display and the final retail handset may differ. Also, Samsung has unveiled a range of new OLED panel options giving us a hands on look at what we can expect from the company in the future. Samsung's rollable phone is expected to land in the market next year.

Nearly 23 years ago, back when my phone was Nokia 3210 (my very 1st mobile phone), I thought that was such a futuristic phone already coz it was among the first models that didn't have the protruding antenna. Now? Made me realize that wasn't even the "tip of the iceberg". Like damn....this is freaking cool!

The rollable phone and touchscreen “laptop” seem useless, but that small tablet that folds inward and can be unfolded into basically a small monitor is super cool! That inward folding phone thing reminds me of a DS sort of as well.

Giving a foldable it's first go with the Z Fold 3 and I'm thoroughly impressed thus far 👏 ... Flex G most definitely caught my eye. There's a reason I've been with Samsung since the Note 3. They've been evolving better than any other competitor.

Rollable is what I'm waiting for. Not sure about Samsung's concept. I think I still prefer the Oppo X. The transition is smoother and looks cooler. Maybe Samsung needs 2 or 3 generations to perfect it.

2:19 that's great the inward fold protects the inner thin display.but they should also provide a regular durable outside display just like fold 3.

Big fan of samsung because of s pen. Rollable & Triple Foldable are big challanges. Let's see it after 10 years later. And I will hope for micro sd card slot.
