If your vehicle is experiencing weak acceleration, or rough idle, one of the areas you can diagnose is the throttle body. Over time, the valve of the throttle body collects debris and oil as the engine sucks air through it. This buildup can cause the throttle valve to drag or stick, resulting in poor throttle response, or incorrect air volumes! In this video, Len shows you how to diagnose and clean the throttle body to get your engine performing again. #shorts

Had an accord with port injection and now with a camry with direct injection when you floor it. The difference is huge on acceleration. At least it feel a lot faster with direct injection

my problem with mine is when i got into D gear rpm goes to zero and turn off also idles rough and feels like a misfire when running. ive changed coils and spark plugs oxygen sensors, clean the body throttle even changes the sensor.

You can only clean the throttle body once. When i bought a new one it brought back the acceleration like new.

Does this include where I’m accelerating and it speeds up but than it stalls or stops for a second and speeds up again on a 2005 grand marquis

When i took off my throttle body, i give a little shake it makes like a marble in a container type of noise. Is it suppose to make noise when i shake it? Is that normal? Or is it time for a new one?

Im ticked. Took my 2018 chevy Equinox to Chevrolet for throttle body clean and now it's running like schis and it sounds like schis. Tech told me to get codes read for $120 but I'm going to cancel that appointment
I reset the codes and it ran nice for 2days then back to running like ish. Does anyone have any idea what they did❓️surely they wouldnt do anything just to get me back in there❓️😳
