BYU isn't ever quieted by an opponent at home. They were not quieted by OSU's touchdown at the end. They get quiet for their own offense, but get loud against the opposing offense. The announcers don't know what they are talking about.

That delay of game that cost OSU their last timeout, I love how the announcers say Gundy was calling for a timeout, but you can see Gundy on the screen: he doesn't call for a timeout until after the clock strikes zero. Then the announcers show a replay of Gundy calling for a timeout, but remove the play clock so they feel justified in their narrative. SMH.

The BYU fans weren't upset about the calling of a trick play (though it isn't a good call), they were upset because the blatant pass interference wasn't called. It was the second such blatant pass interference in the first 15 minutes of the game. There were also at least two missed holding calls (one of which resulted in OSU's first touchdown) and at least one illegal downfield block. After that no call on the interception, the fans knew the refs were either completely incompetent of bought; class gave way to furry; hence the boos.
