One player on that field made an enormous difference in this game Ollie Gordon was a completely different breed. Put in an average running back and the difference isn't near as great. Sure guys are bigger and thicker and it shows up as the game goes along, but Ollie is amazing and that's not the norm.

South Dakota State fan here. This game was pretty hard to watch but I accept the loss. Oklahoma State is a pretty good team. And to all the people saying that North Dakota State is better than South Dakota State because they lost by way less, lemme tell you Colorado not only had a 4-8 season but also lost to Sanford even when up 29-0 and Oklahoma State has one of the best running backs in college football and has recently beat Oklahoma last season. This game was good though in my opinion. Ears up ✌️

I love that people come watch the highlights and not the actual game and think they know what happened. Sdsu is a very solid team that would compete in a group of 5 conference every year very well coached and honestly some sneaky athletes. Okstate definitely has some misstates on the defensive side of the ball blown coverages and d ends jumping underneath instead of holding the edge. Oline looked fantastic in pass protection but definitely need to improve in the run game looked a lil on the soft side today wether that be to playing down not caring or whatever reason it needs to be fixed however bowman looked great at times today and receivers looked great 2 drops weren’t awesome but we were getting open all day and the drops looked like concentration drops easy fix

Can we be real here for a moment. I don’t know what’s going to happen with OSU vs Arkansas next week. Here’s what I do know. Both team’s opponents from week 1 are drastically different.

SDSU are back-to-back FCS champions and OSU snapped their 29 game winning streak. Arkansas Pine-Bluff was literally 2 points away from going 0-12 last season. The two aren’t even in the same comparable realm. It would be like Georgia playing against Arizona State. It’s not even close.

I’m sure Arkansas is better this season. However, beating an FCS team 70-0 that is basically the old Kansas of the FCS isn’t something I’d be hanging my hat on 🤷‍♂️.

That qb had offers to power 4 schools and chose to stay. SDSU had 3 guys go to the nfl last year and probably will have 3 go this year they are pretty solid state team. Good luck 👍🏽
