This scene gets even better when Spider-Man handles the situation. he doesnt yank the kid away and into safety, which would be a proper response. Instead, he told the kid "thanks for holdin out for me. I got it from here" which is even better! :D

Edit: I left this comment here and I now realize that there is a war so lemme say something that I personally believe is reasonable.

-The Cop should have stopped the child first - the kid has his whole life ahead of him

- to those saying that the cops didn’t want the mother to go further into danger alongside the kid, I believe that if the cop stopped the kid first the mother would have also therefore stopped and everything would be fine. However, with the cops not stopping the kid, now there is a kid in danger and a mother who is trying to fight against the cops to get to her now endangered child. The logical thing would have been to prevent the kid from going any further but their decision causes more problems to deal with which may make it even more difficult to protect the entire crowd from danger.

-This is just my point of view on things and it is perfectly fine if you have yours but I think this should make things in this comment section much more peaceful and making more sense

-Also, may the poor souls who died in the Texas shooting rest in peace

Spiderman has always been my favorite Marvel character. This scene is awesome to watch. The kid wanted to be Spiderman so badly that he risked his life to save his city. But the real Spidy showed up to show him how it's done. Epic.

Spidey doesn't immediately swoop in and grab the kid out of harm's way. Instead he let's the child make his stand and relieves him like a comrade so he's doesn't disrespect his bravery. I place it right up there with the train riders protecting their teenage hero.
