Why we broke up...

Hey guys, not a very fun update to bring you. You may have heard some rumors, but @LizzyCapri and I broke up. This is never easy to talk about, and we actually broke up a few weeks ago but the cat's out of the bag and I feel like I owe it to tell you guys what happened. It's not clickbait or a bit for content unfortunately. Since so much of my life is public, it's hard to find a balance of what I should share and what's too personal, but since she's been such a huge part of my life, and yours, for so many years, I thought it would be best to just come forward and tell you what happened. Thanks for supporting both of us throughout the years. Here's what happened...

I completely understand. It's hard, especially when you're together from such a young age. People change, and sometimes you just end up being different people at some point...who aren't meant for each other.
I went through a breakup with my high school sweetheart who had been together for 8 and 1/2 years, it broke me, but made me stronger. I found a new version me, and then I met my now husband.
You will both be okay in the end.

Carter you and Lizzie both made a wise decision to step back now and figure out things in your lives you need to work on.
