Loved every minute. You need to get a special plate made - like they do on Aston Martin engines - ‘engine hand built by Sreten’ and your signature inscribed - then attach it to the engine for everyone to see - and know they have a quality engine that is assembled like a Swiss watch. We all love your technical ability and know how, but your commentary, video editing and camera angles are worthy of a great producer, director and raconteur all rolled into one. 😊

Sreten when there is a slight paint mismatch on one of his BMW'S: "Its 47 Shades of Grey"

Sreten when comparing the mismatched Shades of Gold on the Purse: "Looks almost identical"

Can´t imagine Alpina team watching this video. 100% sure the “specialists” won´t do it with the precision and dedication you did it. That engine works and looks better than new. Period.

Best restoration channel ever, the 1+ hour went really quick, thoroughly enjoyed.

Sreten, that First start is going to be magical for you; because Alpina said it couldn't and shouldn't be done outside of their dealership network at considerable expense, and you said "Screw that, Hold my Blueberry Muffin!"

Wow! From doing an oil change and some bushings to rebuilding the whole over engineered engine of beauty - man has gone a long way and deserves an extra 💪👍. I suspect Alpina engineers will now be using this video as their training material for H1 engine rebuilds 😁

The clever editting with the torque wrench clicks and beeps is very satisfying

who in this world makes a video and shows you all the torques and details like this gentleman? He reads the repairing manual, so you can have a simple "coocking book" and then he improves even the manufacturer (thermostat). Respect

When I watched your previous 'Alpina B7 is dead' video, I really thought it was a doomed project because of parts availability/cost justification. But as usual you surprised me by going through the process, detailed steps to resurrect it. Enjoyed every minute of the video and you should have named this movie as 'Getting the Alpina B7, back alive'

Sreten, you have single-handedly raised the bar on how to video’s on YouTube. Well done, I loved every minute of this. You’re pretty good at handbag’s too.

Excellent job dude 🤘 I’m jealous of that hydro jet wash cabinet. Nothing better than a super clean engine 👌

COMMMING up 4 million views plus on this outstanding video. By far the best automobile restoration channel on YOUTUBE. I'm sure you are getting offers from every direction. But remember though, your soul my friend is priceless. Proceed with caution. Everything in life comes with a price. And you are as authentic as it gets and I hope you never change. Bravo. That's my two cents. BTW- loved the handbag fix lol.

Hi, loved every second of this part of your project. It took me back to my youth in 1969, I was 19 and decided to upgrade my old Ford Cortina 1300cc. I striped the engine (much simpler than the Alpine), had the block rebored to 1603cc. New pistons, rings, valves, double valve springs. All done in a rented single-vehicle garage where my landlady insisted on having sawdust on the floor. The process saw me use ten litres of oil in an attempt to keep the engine dust free. It worked and she started first time, much to my surprise.

As a precision Engineer of 40+ years and someone who rebuilds classic six cylinder Honda motorcycle engines, Your approach was meticulous and faultless. The detail and video was excellent... absolutely superb. Cannot wait to hear it fire up👍

It's so fascinating to watch you do this work. I wouldn't dare disassemble such a complex engine and put it all back together again. Unbelievable, just respect for this work 👍👍👍

Very impressed, as always. Love this channel. I enjoy every episode, with the balance of humanity and enthusiasm that you so clearly convey. Congrats on this engine build! A well-deserved beer, I would say! I love that you are into the older BMWs as well as the newer models. It shows that you have taste and historic appreciation. As someone who has yet to fire up their own rebuild, my hopes for a smooth rebirth are with you. Well done, sir!
