Hey Chaps! Are you tempted to buy the S22 Ultra??

CORRECTION: S22U uses an upgraded version of ISOCELL HM3 camera sensor, which S21U used. But we also get OIS and AI upgrades 👍

(I also mixed up the dimensions at 01:03. Oops!)

Good Thing about this line up is the S22+ can have its own spotlight in the show, the plus models in s20 n s21 were overshadowed by the Ultras, undervalued by the base models but now being somewhat separate in design from Ultra, S22+ can provide a good middle ground

No SD card is just sad. It is concerning how the mobile phone industry is slowly taking away features that make the smartphone a tool. I am still using my Note 8 which has a headphone jack, an SD card slot, IP 68 rating, Charger in the box, AKG earphones in the box, USB-A to C connector in the box.

But despite all this, I will be definitely buying the S22 "Note" Ultra.

I’m a Note series fan. My first was the Note 3, which I owned from the minute it was released (that thing was revolutionary at the time). I bought multiple different Note devices after that and I loved each one. When I heard the Note series was supposedly ending, I jumped ship and bought an iPhone 13 Pro. I’m looking at this phone with such envy!

This is a better impression video than the one by Marques Brownlee, honestly.

Honestly at this point, the differences in performance are moot, with each SoC trading blows according to rumours. The bigger question (and one you keep pointing out) is the battery life. I can't just swap out the SoC for better battery life at a later date, so I'm super excited to see your battery rundown test. Whichever version (Exynos/Snapdragon S22+/Ultra) gives the longest time, I'll go for that whatever the cost. Please could you make that test the first you do?

Got my order in for a white 512gb.
Looking forward to seeing if it's much of an upgrade from my current Note 20 Ultra.

Exynos 2200 can have up to 600+ multicore score then snapdragon, the results are already on geekbench. And the AI performance exynos is also about 15% faster.

I'm just happy about the anti-flare effort! I hope it becomes one more new standard for the phone camera

For the 45W charger being (better for the environment) other than it costing more to buy it's worse for the environment, cause it comes in a box to if it was included it would only take a space in the already existing box.

What I have loved about the Note series all these years is when I get one I keep it longer than any other phone because they are so nice.Even with the S series after 2 years I had to get a new one.I have the Note 20 and I won't get another phone till whatever they call the 23 version.

I'm not going to preorder immediately until I hear a much more comprehensive review so I can make a better decision when I consider getting the phone.

Phones have reached a stagnation point, for the majority of people the cameras are well above average and good enough these days, better battery life is always wanted but we’re not making massive gains these days. We have got to a point now wheee it’s silly gimmicks because we’ve hit a plateaux, I see no reason to be upgrading every year or even 2 these days. Good video though Tom
