She is young and had to become so much older just because of what she witnessed that terrible day. She is a very brave young woman and I admire her so very much. None of us expect to witness a human being having their life taken away from them in front of us, let alone in such a manner by those we are told to respect and trust. It was that cop’s responsibility to safely detain and protect the person in his custody if he required detaining. Not to Murder him when he was helpless on the ground. The only thing the witness could have done in that moment was to record his passing to hold his murderer accountable. The other cops had a duty to protect as well. They failed and that should haunt them.

Floyd was on drugs as autopsy shows he resisted arrest was combative refused to get into police car said he could not breathe even before he was on the ground. He cried out for mana. His gf testified her nickname on Floyd cell phone was " mama".She also testified she and often supplied Floyd with prescribed and street Opioids as did the guy he was with on that day. One autopsy report shows no bruises no injuries no fractures on Floyd's neck shoulder nor back. Cause of death is on trial. Don't ignore that the family settled for $27 million and MPD allowed arm and neck choke for resisting arrest it was banned March 2021.

I feel so bad for all the people who watched George Floyd beg for his life.. Screaming mama, , saying tell my kids that I love them.. 🥺 & then He dies right in front of them. They feel/Felt SO helpless.. Powerless....

Saying something disturbed you has no bearing on the legal aspect. I’m disturbed by the reaction to George Floyd’s death in that no facts were even considered before cities burned to the ground. The fact that his knee was on his back and not neck is enough to hopefully shame 90% of the people who rioted. The last 10% should probably learn how to read.

In this case the prosecution is actually the defense of George Floyd. Its been too long coming but this is what should have happened a long time ago, this is justice.

Why isn’t GF responsible for himself? If left to his own devices he would have died in a short period of time that very day. The drugs that he consumed suppressed his breathing capacity
Chauvin is a poor excuse for a PO, and maybe his actions were unappealing to bystanders but it isn’t murder.
