The final lesson is that unbounded counter isn't optional.

The various bosses get progressively harder, and it becomes less 'unga bunga' smash of the attack button till the boss dies, and more recognition of their patterns till you eventually drain their health to zero. The game is definitely good, both in narrative and its gameplay.

Its so funny that looking at the video, Eigong doesnt seems hard, but DAMN when you are the guy playing you feel like everything is in lightspeed. What an amazing boss, took 3 hours to beat her

Eigong isn't a difficulty spike, she's a difficulty wall which made mastering her fight immensely satisfying. Even with over 300 hours on her fight alone now I always find myself surprised by her in some way

Just finished Eigong today after 2 hours or so of trying and I can say it was one of the most entertaining boss fights I've ever done.

That boss fight put everything you learn into a test, and the more you die, the easier it gets because you eventually get used to her patterns.
