If Furina is indeed the real archon, Arlecchino assassinating her would cause a calamity (maybe a flood) as she is divinity. Same way when the God of Salt was killed by her people.

I'm guessing that Furina gave her powers as the Archon to the Oratrice. Could have a couple of reasons, maybe because she came to the conclusion that Archons are still too human for giving perfect judgement. I mean, Neuvi is sure she is the Archon, could he be wrong? Besides, she is around for like 500 years, there has to be something unnatural about her, right? And of course, the statues in Fontaine do look like her.

Not all archons are the same, Arlecchino should not set expectations and perceive the others to be the same as her Tsaritsa lol. After seeing their interaction and Furina defending the accusation that she's not doing anything vs the prophecy, clearly states that she's more than just that flamboyant, dramatic and "bratty" lady. Theres more to her than meets the eye and i cant wait for her lore on 4.2

Furina being so weak and incompetent is kind of genius. I don’t know what the previous hydro archon was cooking, but by leaving Furina weak and in the dark as a figurehead has actually protected her to a degree and made the gnosis much harder to find. She’s essentially a red herring for anyone plotting to get the gnosis, and not worth confronting or being seen as a threat. This might be the hardest the fatui have had to work to even find the gnosis.

It’s still interesting that Arlecchino was getting very anxious with furina. She was hitting her with a lot of questions and knowing furina ( has a split personality) I feel like that was her other side talking when they discussed the fate of fontaine since most people are aware, that the primordial sea will sink fontaine and everyone will dissolve. Also I strongly believe Furina’s gnosis is inside the oratrice it would make sense why she possibly kept it there Arlecchino is hands down the best harbinger

Could it be that while the former Hydro archon was fighting in the Cataclysm way back and died, her nation Fontaine, was also facing its battle? Without their archon, Fontaine fell and lost as well. Then, Furina, the current archon was born in Fontaine after Egeria’s passing. She learned that everybody there have died and that she’s all alone. Maybe those were her tears (feelings) that we can still hear in the fountain of Lucine. Out of desperation and love for Fontaine, she revived everyone using the primordial sea waters, as oceanids. Everyone in Fontaine ARE oceanids. Fontainians are elemental beings, that’s why we can harvest their energy via the Oratrice to power the nation. Furina probably was cursed by Celestia for doing so, for interfering with what should have been (reviving the people).Celestia took her divine power and even her consciousness, but she was able to put her gnosis in the oratrice first so she can still guide and be able to fulfill her role as an archon, God of Justice even by means of becoming a machine. The current Furina probably is an empty shell of what Furina used to be, cursed by Celestia for all we know.

Maybe that’s why Mage ‘N’ was the one who introduced her, because she made a change in history for bringing her people back from the dead.

I mean considering Furina’s kit (gameplay wise) has Archon written all over it, I highly doubt she isn’t. Meaning, she’s as cracked as past archons and has the unique Archon trait of having 100% uptime on her skill by having a CD that’s much smaller than the skill duration. That being said, lore wise, there’s something definitely super weird about Furina that we haven’t learned yet. In her official splash art, she is for some reason holding a vision (probably fake) that she hasn’t been holding in the game so far.

it would make sense for neuvillete to have a concrete link with the hydron archon with his kit being so alike to hydro traveler's (there's even a synergy with the droplets)

I suspect Furina uses the Gnosis to try to fix Fontaine energy problems. It would also make sense to use that as a way to prevent the disaster.
