SCP-001 - God's Blind Spot (SCP Animation)

SCP-001 is a Yesod Class anomaly also known as God's Blind Spot.

SCP 001 is an irregularly-shaped volume of space, approximately 65,000 cubic meters in volume inclusive of space both above and below the original ground level, located in the Sinai Peninsula desert.

SCP001 is distinguished as the only known natural location on Earth with absolute zero ambient Akiva radiation.

As a consequence of SCP-001’s properties, the natural progression of degeneration or termination of Homo sapiens cognitive function and organic functionality are suspended while the Homo sapiens subject in question remains within the limits of SCP-001. Put another way, subject to certain limitations, human death does not occur within SCP-001.

Fun fact to those a bit new: The answer to whether the SCP Foundation is attempting to hide something or due to the fact that it was before their current naming system was in place, making them some of the first SCPs, is technically both. One of the most famous SCPs, which most of the details of this SCP require level 5 clearance, is a version of SCP-001 which details the first strange artifacts that the SCP Foundation came across, one of which being SCP-018. It is, by his own account, the first SCP, and the story of how 05-1 founded the SCP Foundation. Codename: 'Bright'

I liked the idea that the council would set up shop at that spot but it's scary to me that after many decades later, if you accidentally walk out that area or it disappears for some reason, you immediately begin aging and probably turn to dust at that point.

Admittedly, this sounds like the Spiral Path, with the idea of meddling and exploiting the paranormal at the point of discovery, and then having to atone for it afterward.
Regardless, both of these pay homage to the phrase "Curiosity killed the Cat"

I believe this site could be some kind of remnant of a long destroyed "real" Garden of Eden. Basically the Gate Guardian isn't guarding the real one. The real one is destroyed, but the area still has that same effect as it did when it was a lush, green, and peaceful garden.

So here’s a theory. You know that one time, when SCP-682 met the gate guardian, and it said that the gate guardian “wasnt euriel or whatever. Or that it was a “faker”? A “pretender”? Well, what if the SCP foundation measured the akiva radiation around the gate guardian, and then they could see if it was actually “euriel”. And if it IS a faker, then why don’t they use akiva radiation to fight it off. Or why don’t they use akiva radiation to kill SCP-682?
