This whole system seems like a waste of money. Two people's days ruined because some officer thought they looked nervous, a poor taxi driver out of work for the day, someone with a not unreasonable amount of money on them for a holiday is detained for no reason and cigarettes confiscated so the UK can make a little extra in tax dollars?
