Brian, I have been trying for months to figure out how to make a bootable UBCD4WIN disc. I have tried and failed many times. I have made other bootable discs, but this one has confounded me. But I think you just explained it so well that I see where I was going wrong...thank you so much!
Great job on this video!

I would just like to say that you have a great way of making difficult tasks easy to understand for people like myself who know little or nothing about computers. You are the best Thanks so much for all the videos. God Bless

Thanks Brian :)

Ive been using isoburn for years and its a great bit of software :-)

Mostly ive used it for its main function, iso burning.

I have used nero, and i liked that, but they have become a pain with installers and registered packages, isoburn is a delight to use :-)

Belly dancing brian, so get drinking the beer to show a tutorial ha ha :-) :-o :o)

It is now 2021 and apparently this method no longer works? CDBOOT: Couldn't find NTLDR

Before you proceed, check if the iso image is bootable already, it may well be! Open it with ImgBurn and it will show bootable if it was bootable. If that's the case, just write it to the DVD!

Confusing. I particularly want to convert a Vista x86 folder to an ISO image and have it burn to a bootable DVD.

I'm fine with your instructions about source files and destination, but what is the issue with Advanced/Boot Image? You've added a third element which doesn't make much sense.

IgBurn worked for me. Simple thing...turning .iso into bootable CD/DVD.

There is a second step, you have to write the target to DVD yet again. I think you can probably do it in one go, just DVD drive instead of target folder.

A good feature in ImgBurn is that it will burn CD's & DVD's no matter what language the source files are in. With Nero, that will be a problem.

Hey man, I like your videos and I subscribed today when a video of yours helped me out on my internship.
*But I have a question.* How do I know which file the boot image file is in custom software? We are using ArcServe software and I had to extract the BMR ISO file to add some custom drivers (and in addition change the HKEIs to load them). Now I'm stuck with the folder and I lost my way I simply need to recreate the ISO, because I don't know what the boot image file would be (I guess it's under the boot folder). I'm also guessing for the sectors to load, can I leave this at 4? Do I change this to 8? Or how can I find out what the ideal amount would be?

So this is absolutely NOT the way to make an ISO bootable.
What you see in the end of the video is AutoRun : a Windows feature which has nothing to do with a boot. It's done with a inf file placed on the root of the disc.
