What I like most about these collections they go from all types of rock, soul, jazz, proto-punk, New Wave, and alt country before that term was invented. The wide variety of music in the day helped open people up to other cultures. Seeing Goose Creek Symphony open for Alice Cooper at VCU gymnasium was one of the best. I'm digging into my collection to be sure I preserve them correctly. Funny thing is I tore all the shrink wrap off mine because I was told the plastic would eventually warp the record. Killer stuff for sure Dillon. I'm glad you got to them and the stories that you tell sound so familiar. Many years ago I remember a few guys that had record stores and their stories match yours. Very little sleep, always on the go, sleeping in their vehicles, lots of coffee and lots of hidden cash. SNOOZE YOU LOOSE was a common saying. If I lived that life I would have difficulty in selling most of the collections. Too much excellent music to pass on. Keep on Truckin' Man. Peace.
