Crazy to imagine that most desert storm veterans are over 60

I did this for my stepfather. He wasn't as bitter as Cotton, but he was at times physically abusive. But he did have some good qualities, and I have a few good memories with him. When he passed we scattered his ashes in a creek he always enjoyed fishing. Still dealing with some of the trauma he gave me, but hey, I hope he's somewhere better.

Let's not forget that Cotton was accepted to be buried in the Texas State Cemetery. Only to end up flushed down a tolite.

This scene basically represents the battle of the silent, boomers, and generation X.

The important thing is that the whole platoon is together once again

I like that bill Was there. Since both were army guys. So for a fellow solider to give him the army salute 🫡

I think it was rather generous of Hank to do all this for his abusive father. If it were me, I would not only not do any of those tasks, I would get rid of everything that reminds me of cotton. Ever picture, every recording, every award or document with his name on it. Let cotton be forgotten.

It’s hard for Hank to express himself when it comes to his feelings, so him saying how much spending time with the boys means to him took a lot

Hank is just like Cotton and has his own Stinky Fatty and Brooklyn

WW2 veterans, Vietnam veterans, Dessert Storm vets and even a Grenada veteran. But no mention of Korean war veterans. The same with when in another episode they talked about the veterans of foreign war merging with Vietnam veterans but nothing about merging with Korean war veterans. They really are the forgotten war. They talk about how the vfw ignored the Vietnam veterans for decades but said nothing about Korean war veterans.

I just noticed Topsy's name above Cotton's

Platoon off to Japan 1943. Freaking badasses. 0:29 “not my rules” 😅😅

When I saw Irwin Linker, I thought to myself that this name kinda almost reminded me of my great grandfather Irvin Luker. He died 12 years ago, and I truly miss him so much. 😢

May my great grandfather rest in peace.

It would have been a miracle of there was a WW1 veteran at that bar.
