Another excellent video on Evergiven & details on interaction between Suez canal bosses & P&I club (cargo) insurers, ship (multiple) owners & related info on shipyard building vessels, leasing to conglomerates...on and on! Great info and referencing where to get more onsite into marine shipping. My uncle was a merchant marine, so I have an interest in the subject. Incredible just how huge, international & interrelated this business of trade has become. Thx for your recognition that the average person has no clue how this works, when it got started...first navy...how it has evolved. Just an enormous subject matter. Thanks again Sal, carry on sir!👍👍👍🍷

Sal, the Captain told Elvis that Ever Given couldn't go any faster with Elvis water skiing behind. Were gonna stop at the "Rock" and get some better fuel!

Reuters article July 11, 2021 - Suez Canal Revenue Hits Record $5.84 Billion. Interesting to see reaction to enlarging canal and ship builders constructing larger ships. It would be interesting to see cost / benefit presentation that justified upgrades.
Let’s see if Lessons Learned lead to improvements in overall Suez Canal and other restricted waters safety or will they just be Lessons Observed.

Ok, so some of those containers must have held perishable goods. How will those be handled? Will they be handled in the port or will containers with rotten stinking stuff go the the intended recipient? For non-perishable stuff, has insurance paid for that or are the recipients justhappy to get later than not at all?
