For those new people who are picking up drag, sometimes in online combo list it lists out the SNK cancel as CDC. So if you're using online combos that what it means. On another note, almost all moves can be used after CDC but standing 2 cuz you're cancelling SNK with a SS. You can use standing 2 but you have to cancel the SS with a d tap then 2.

With a couple decades of experience playing an instrument, I can't emphasize enough how important the "all muscle memory is built while you are resting" bit is. I have countless memories of drilling a groove or a rudiment for a couple hours and not getting it, giving up, going home and trying again a couple days later only to nail it first try.

The part of the sneak training you did was actually similar to ann old school method of training for drag but the one that i know was for F3, SNK, U, 1 and doing it over and over again. Great to see that someones teaching drag's cancel just like when he first had this

Thank you for this, I used to wonder if this was even possible; I am very glad to see that it is! I also didnt know that muscle memory was built after and not during the activity that you are doing. Your videos are really just a wealth of information, honestly. I found that you can also cdc into an up move if you just hold up and do not do a neutral input. I found that that can be nice to mix with, with Dragunov- not too sure about other characters.

This guide helped a lot, I was able apply this to lars and land a ch db4 combo i saw in a lars combo video. They should really put the notation in their videos, your videos are awesome phi.

I’ve been maiming drag since I picked up tekken 7, at the start of season 2 nonetheless. Seeing someone break down and teach some of the key mechanics would have been a god send for me back then. Sadly I had to grind it out much more slowly with a lot of ass whoppings lol. Hopefully the new comers can take full advantage of all the tech being unlocked!
