looks like one of those things you've gotta get the feeling for, and then you're set

I use to have to make these when I worked as a teenager at McDonalds. Still remember how to do it, and I was tickled when we were at one of those buffet type restaurants with a soft serve machine and some kids saw me make mine and asked me to make theirs too because it was so “pretty.” ☺️

i live in the city where Morgan’s Dairy Queen is and I had the pleasure of meeting her yesterday where she helped me pick out a cake for my boyfriend and I’s first anniversary. she is seriously the NICEST person ever and so sweet in person, so humble and down to earth too, it was such a pleasant surprise 💗

I wish I could just practice this but I don’t think DQ will let me walk right in haha

If I ordered a cone and got that much ice cream on it I might fall in love with the person who made it for me

It was satisfying, I've watched it sooo many times already

In my teens I worked at an ice cream stand and what I learned about DQ is that their 'signature swirl' was just created by removing the shaped tip of the soft serve dispenser. If you take the shaped tip off of a normal soft serve dispenser and follow this technique you too will have a DQ style cone

Just started my first day working at Dairy Queen yesterday and this is very helpful because of how confused I was on making the sundaes and ice cream cones. Thank you!

Sonic cones were something people struggled with so they’d make me the designated cone maker. Plus I liked doing it cause it was always so satisfying!! It’s made differently than this though

I never would have thought that this was the hardest. You have inspired me to get a job like this in my area!

I worked at DQ for 4 years and I thought the hardest thing was to make a banana split blizzard that wouldn’t fall out of the cup after tipping it upside down.

I live in a country where I’ve never seen or met anyone who’s been to Dairy Queen, including myself, so watching these videos is quite cool for me, also how come DQ can make the look like a perfectly built snowman and then Macca’s makes them look like that same snowman after it’s been attacked by an army of toddlers 💀🤚

I actually work at DQ and literally cones and Sundays are the easiest thing to make

Hardest things to make are the extreme blizzard’s. Getting that liquid topping down the middle was always fun 😂

In my college, the cafeteria had a self-serve soft-serve machine and I'd get a cone almost every day. It was always fun to try to make it look fancy or see how tall I could make it.

That's Nothing. Back around 1980, I worked for a mom and pop hamburger stand. They had an ice cream cone called a 'brown topper'

You had to do a spiral swirl the the ice cream on the cone. Then tip that Upside Down into a pot of warmed chocolate that would harden, but also before it did harden, and while it was still upside down, you had to dip the top of the cone into some crushed nuts....then get the cone upright without the ice cream falling out during the process.

I hated making those things...but they were a popular item. :P

I work at a DQ. Hardest item for me is a large chocolate cone dipped. The chocolate always seems soft no matter what

I remember when I applied to work at Dairy Queen, one of the prerequisites to keep a job there was that you HAD to be able to make the cone perfect with the loop at the top otherwise you would be let go. My friend was let go cause she couldn't do it but I was able too and worked there for 2 summers. It was my first job in high school. ❤
