I have exactly the same green S23 and I think it's a great phone. I can't agree with all those opinions that it introduces only minor changes. If the increase in efficiency and battery life or screen brightness is that visible then it's a significant improvement!
For me it is more important than some feature that I would use only once - at the begining.

Went from s10 to s23 in graphite and it’s worth it. Display colours are better even if the resolution is low. Battery life is amazing and phone is fast as hell. S10 never lagged but it always took some time when opening app or login into online portals where s23 just does everything a second or two faster(on same wifi connection). On paper it doesn’t look much different but actual use makes it a huge upgrade. Also camera rings on back just look better in person, it’s has new iPhone aesthetics.

I feel like s23+ is the true middle child not getting enough attention. It's a fantastic model with very good battery and performance

My last phone was an S20 Fe, so the upgrade was worth it for me. I still didn't pull the trigger until there was a good sale on though. You're right about the price. It's hard to justify at full cost. And yes, the fingerprint scanner sucks. However, I love how fast it is, the decent battery life and the size is perfect for me. I wondered if I would regret the small screen but the display is terrific, so no worries there!

I agree with you about everything, except the fingerprint scanner. It's true that it doesn't work well with glass screen protectors, but it's crazy fast and much better than the Pixel ones, for example. You barely put the tip of your finger on and it's unlocked!

I totally agree with you, have the S23. The photos/videos are great but not perfect, no quality bump from last year. The charging speed could be better but it doesn't bother me very much. I upgraded only for the 8gen2 which is very worth

Great review with great points! Battery alone is probably the biggest reason to go from s22 to s23 but if that's not an important feature to someone then I would wait to see what's released next year or go for the s23+ if you want a bigger screen for consuming content.

increase the touch screen sensitivity and re-add fingerprints when using screen protector. It works like a charm

I upgraded from the S21 and I'm very satisfied with my decision. Performance and battery life of the S23 (in green :) ) are simply great. Besides I'm using a Pixel 7 (lemongrass :) ) as a second daily driver and the battle between both is a close one. For me the performance of Tensor is kinda worse and especially the idle drain is way to high. In certain games my Poco X3 with Snapdragon 732G outperforms the Tensor...
I prefer the camera of the Pixel 7 over the S23s one, but the S23 is and will be my main phone.

About fingerprint scanner, when you apply glass protection you need to reenter fingerprints again! And will work like a charm... 👍👍👍. And you forget to mention, it will have 4 years of android upgrades, that will be to android 17, and one year of security patches after that. So camera performance will be much better in years to come, and battery performance. 1h of charging is not bat at all if you compare to iPhones, and they are a more expensive in my country. So if you look for compact phone, for longer period of time. S23 will be your best option. My opinion at least..

I got my s23 for only 329(256gb Model) and that included tax. I own the s21 and s22 but my s23 blows it out of the water with the battery efficiency. Right now I have 4:37 of sot used over 11:18 with 60% still left in the tank. It's amazing

The photos can improve with software updates there have been many phones that sucked taking pictures at first but after updates improved alot

Trade INS are great this year but if you have the funds and battery life, standby time and efficiency is important to you, the S23 is still a worthy upgrade over S22. Standby, speed and efficiency just sucked for S22 and there was always battery life anxiety

what keeping me from buy a samsung phone its the amount of bloatware they put in their phone...but i have to admit this time time they fixed one the most annoying issue of the smallest s device which is always been battery endurance...great video as always!!!

Been considering this as an update from S20fe(SD version). I like the form factor, SD soc and reliable camera set although not amazing. Shame the 128gb is it's only ufs 3.1 and the 256gb with ufs 4.0 makes it a way too expensive in Europe. Only a favourable trade-in option might convince me and even then would still think twice

Well I wish they update the camera.. It is more like hit or miss... Some pictures are amazing but human subjects still need a lot of work... They just use a weird filter post processing it.. Looks orange or very cartoonist sometimes..
Had the iPhone 14 before this, only thing I miss about that phone is you click a snap and it will always turn out great, even if the subject is moving.. In this I have to just wish the picture is good... Maybe take multiple shots...

Getting Snapdragon chipset, is a big plus but get 256 gb, 128 version only 3.1 ufs and not 4.0 like 256gig👍👍👍😄😄

I was surprised when you said that fingerprint scanner doesn't work properly with a screen protection on. My Samsung S23 unlocks instantly. 🤷‍♀️

Супер ревю!Навсякъде хвалят много s23, но все още се чудя между него и iPhone 13 Pro.Чудя се понеже ако реша след време бих успял да продам айфона за повече отколкото андроида.Пък и казват че видеата снимани от айфона са по-качествени нищо че е с една генерация назад.
Какво би ми препоръчал?
