Considering the S23 is $200 less than the iPhone 14 Pro it actually offers a pretty good value

I've been searching for a lighter and smaller phone without compromising too much processing power. This review really helped me to decide. I'm upgrading from Samsung S21 Ultra. I love my current phone but the heaviness is wearing my right hand at some point.

The S23 series definitely made some nice improvements from the S22. I still don't think it's worth the upgrade for S22 users. I'll probably upgrade when the S24 drops. Thanks again Ella!

I got the s23 phone few days ago. It seems to me the best in all respects. I don't play any games. I got 6 hours of screen ontime by running video calls and YouTube, Facebooking and other apps. Also there was a standby of about 19 hours. Which really surprised me.

Good review - no one else seems to mention the multi-tasking when reviewing / comporting. I have the S9+ for almost 5 years and really like Samsung's "pop-up-view" feature and multitasking / transparency. I'm tempted by the budget pixel 6a or iPhone 13 as my next 5 - 7 year phone (depending on patching lifetime).

Great review. I'll be upgrading from an S8 (yes, you read that right), so anything would be a huge upgrade. Considering the plus and ultra models are just too big, and too feature rich for what I use my phone for, the base model seems like the best fit for me. Thanks!

Thank you for explaining the differences between UFS 3.1 and 4.0. Phone storage speed has also never been an issue for me either and most reviewers never admit this. It's shooting 8k30 video which normally pushes the write speeds to the max.

Upgrading from the Z Flip 3 to the Ultra is extremely refreshing. Better Battery, Camera, overall performance. So glad I made the choice.

Sidenote: you mentioned the 50mp Fotos being bad in low light conditions as if we would have expected better quality. But that's pretty normal and the case on ever single phone, also 14 pro and s23 ultra. 50mp mode is waaaay more pixel therefore the Pixels are smaller and need more light. On any single phone on this planet right now the normal 12 mp picture will always look better than the 50mp/200mp/48mp picture when taken in low light :) 8:20

Finally. A small flagship phone with proper battery life. I don't get all the hype around the s23 Ultra, the real deal this year is the base model.

When I upgrade from my S10 later this year this will be my pick. I like compact phones with good performance and s23 is the perfect choice
