Hand Finishing Knives

This video shows the steps involved in cleaning up the knives after they come off the CNC machine. Hand finishing is the phase before the blades go through heat treat. We deburr buff each knife using a range of grits and different wheels. After heat treat more hand work is required to remove scale and oxidation on the steel's surface caused by the high temperatures.
