Dear Penske folks, I'm sure you are all well aware that one point in history CART used to compete with F1 for TV viewers. It was a fine racing series with amazing drivers. This current iteration is a weak attempt on its best day. No wonder automobile manufacturers don't want to be a part of it. The easiest thing you can do is make the season a little bit longer. Race cars do not generate revenue or fan interest when they are sitting inside the team shop. There are plenty of race tracks available around the United states that would probably love an Indycar race. Indycar's future is all up to you.

For those saying about how this venue is only for the rich i don't think you're considering the whole value of the ticket price.

Sure the tickets were very expensive at $500 but that inclided vip facilities and unlimited food drink and cocktails.
$500 would barely get you regular tickets in f1 nowadays lmao.

Got tired of Townsend Bell saying there is no other place like this anywhere. There are at least 5 that I can think of around the country. They might not have the Palm Springs address or the million-dollar homes but they do have garages that are pretty decked out and good tracks with them

I'm just wondering why did it take that long to throw the caution. NASCAR would have had it out in half the time and stock cars are less likely to totally be stopped on the track.

I would have liked to have seen a regular race format instead of the heats. Sprint races don't make for more action, and the tire saving in the first stint was hard to watch
