Armed Forces of Ukraine recruits complete their urban operations exercise

Under the instruction of personnel deployed on Operation KUDU, Armed Forces of Ukraine Recruits are now lethal in operation, survival, occupation and denial in the urban environment.
Having completed their exercise on Urban Operations, the trainees have worked as a team to breach buildings, identify improvised explosive devices (IEDs), move and fight in built-up areas.

No Australian personnel will enter Ukraine as part of this Programme.

We need to vastly scale up our training of Ukrainians if they're to have enough guys to make a big impact. Training a few thousand a year is good for our limited capacity, however we need to find a way to greatly upscale our efforts, ASAP.
